The Milner-Barry Cup is named after Alda Milner-Barry, the first British women's Epee champion.
The trophy was donated in 2002, making the London International Open a truly modern dual-gender event and honoring the contribution of women to British epee fencing. This addition transformed the competition into a comprehensive weekend celebration of epee excellence.
Now in its 24th year, the Milner-Barry Cup continues to attract top international women's epee competitors, maintaining the tradition of excellence while fostering the growth of women's epee fencing in the UK.
