🏆 History of the Miller-Hallett Cup

The Miller-Hallett Cup is the UK's oldest Epee competition, founded in 1928 when Alexander Miller-Hallett, a stalwart of The Epee Club, presented a cup for an international competition.

The Miller-Hallett soon became one of the most prestigious competitions in Europe, attracting leading fencers from all over the world. The roll of honour includes winners from France, Sweden, the United States of America and Germany. However, in addition to being a prestige event, it also had a reputation for being one of the most friendly in the calendar.

Now in its 88th year, the competition continues to uphold the tradition of excellence while embracing modern competitive formats designed to attract elite international competitors to London.
